About her work and life:
Pamela Parsons is a self-taught painter of landscape. Pamela works in watercolor, oil and pastel to capture the essence of real and imaginary places. She specializes in impressionist interpretations of Bucks County, New England and the Jersey Shore.
Pamela was born and raised in Doylestown, PA.. She works in her home studio in Bedminster where she resides with her husband and two sons. Pamela graduated from Millersville University with a BA in Psychology, and from Arcadia University with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. She currently is studying fine art at Bucks County Community College.
Pamela's work has been accepted into many regional and national juried shows, including the 2002 Phillips Mill Juried Show, where she wond the Best Impressionist Landscape Award, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society National Juried Show, Artsbridge at Prallsville Mills National Juried Show and the New Hope Arts Commission Regional Exhibition. In 2003, Pamela wil also participate in the Upper Bucks Day of the Arts Street Fair (May 17, Quakertown), Peddlers Village Fine Art & Contemporary Craft Show (June 7&8), and the Doylestown Arts Festival (September 27&28).
